Whether you’re a student or a teacher, there’s loads of ways you can fundraise for The Hygiene Bank at school. Take a look at some of our ideas below, or get in touch with us at fundraising@thehygienebank.com if you have an event you'd like to discuss.
Non-uniform day
Organise a non-uniform day and ask for small donations from anyone taking part.
Talent show
Host a talent show to give students and teachers the chance to show off their hidden skills and ask for a small entry fee.
Headteacher challenge
Set a challenge for your headteacher (run a marathon, abseil etc) and a fundraising target for the school. Once the goal has been met, they have to complete the challenge.
Bake sale
Hold a bake sale at school - who can say no to a sweet treat at break or lunch time?! You could take hygiene items as payment instead of money and donate the products to your local Hygiene Bank project.
Raffle
Sell raffle tickets with prizes like skipping the canteen queue at lunch or a one-day extension for a piece of homework.
Book swap
Students can pay a small donation to bring in a book they've already read and swap it for a new one.
