Busy Projects are the result of dedicated volunteers. Our people are the heart and soul of the charity. We believe their energy and commitment makes The Hygiene Bank one of the most innovative and impactful support charities in the UK.
They proactively fundraise in their communities and forge key frontline relationships with our Community Partners to alleviate hygiene poverty. They continually challenge injustice and champion community action.
Educational Partnership Programme
Our Educational Partnership Programme Pilot was set up to reach some of the most critical areas of need and its success is one of our most exciting impacts of 2021!
The Pilot kicked off in September 2021 with two schools in Liverpool, supporting over 200 students and families experiencing poverty.
We delivered over 618kg of hygiene essentials purchased with a £2,500 starter donation raised by our Community Partner, The Star Academies Multi Academy Trust.
Fundraising
2021 was another steady year of fundraising growth despite the difficulties imposed by the pandemic.
Our engaged and passionate Hygiene Bank community showed their commitment to the cause, rallying together to raise over £700,000 in funds to fight hygiene poverty.
With an ambitious strategy to increase our reach and impact in 2022, we remain committed to sourcing further sustainable financial contributions.
Boots
Our strategic partnership with Boots continued to flourish in 2021, delivering high-impact campaigns and activations. From our famous instore yellow donation points to engaging media campaigns, our relationship with Boots is testament to what can be achieved when brands and charities work together.
