Hannah is a passionate advocate of community empowerment and education for change. She started her work in the charity sector whilst at university in Brighton, where she volunteered with various organisations in her free time, alongside studying for her Philosophy and English degree. Following a move to Barcelona in 2019 and a transition into English teaching, she got involved with a local, community-led organisation that supports the homeless.

Hannah wished to become more involved in the charity sector and this desire led her to complete a Research and Fundraising internship with Global One 2015, an international women-led NGO. The experience and knowledge of fundraising practices gained from this role was invaluable, and upon looking for other forward-thinking and progressive organisations to work with, she found The Hygiene Bank.

I am excited by the opportunity to work with The Hygiene Bank, where I can use my experience and enthusiasm to promote equality and reduce the effects of poverty for those of us in need.
