Help tackle hygiene poverty in your community while meeting new people, learning new skills and being part of a team.

From collecting and distributing products, to fundraising and social media, there are plenty of ways to get involved.

Join an existing project, or help start one in a new area.

We all have the power to make a positive impact in our local communities and The Hygiene Bank provides a great platform to empower us to help make this happen. By collecting donations locally and distributing locally, we can clearly see the impact our volunteering makes in our communities.

Our volunteering opportunities

Volunteer Project Coordinator: Act as a team leader who sets up and runs a Hygiene Bank project in your area. Working alongside other volunteers as they come on board, you will be responsible for setting up drop-off points in the area, building relationships with the local Boots stores, collecting and sorting donated products to distribute to your local Community Partner organisations such as schools and food banks.

Project Volunteer: Play a key role in supporting the Project Coordinator to successfully run the Project. This could be by helping with the collection of donated products, delivering to Community Partners or supporting with the administration that is required. There are many roles to suit individual skill sets.

Virtual Volunteer: Do you have a key skill to offer? This could be an expert in fundraising, social media content creation, event planning or more general data input administration. You don’t need to have a project near you offer your support, we will match you with a project who could benefit from your skill.

I have loved using my skills to educate and raise awareness within a community that perhaps is oblivious to the pockets of deprivation on their doorstep.
