This Christmas, add confidence, joy and a fresh start to your Christmas list.
Could you change a life this Christmas?
With 4.2 million people in the UK unable to afford hygiene basics, they are having to make difficult choices between buying food or hygiene basics like toothpaste or washing up liquid. Your kindness can be life-changing – did you know that just £15 could provide a family of four with cleaning supplies and laundry detergent for a month? That family would then be able to give their children presents, as well as cooking the Christmas lunch!
This has given so many families a boost that they really needed. They do not prioritise deodorant or shampoo as a priority, when they have no money anyway. This has taken lots of pressure from our families, especially at Christmas.
How to get involved:
- Shower someone with kindness: Perform a simple act of kindness
- Capture the moment: Take a photo and share it on your social media channels
- Spread the word: Tag @thehygienebank and use the hashtags #ShowerPeopleWithKindness and #GiveSomeoneAFreshStart
- Donate: Every small contribution to The Hygiene Bank makes a big difference - you’re giving more than hygiene essentials to those pulled into hygiene poverty— you’re giving confidence, joy, and a fresh start
Every gift really does count
"This pack has made my Christmas - thank you, I really appreciate it. It was the first time I had a bubble bath."
