Thought Leadership Discussions
Over the course of the week and afterwards, we encourage you to watch and listen to a series of conversations we hosted to help raise awareness about hygiene poverty in the UK, along with some solutions from our peers. Watch our panels here to learn more about Covid-19’s impact on those of us living in poverty; why The Hygiene Bank choose to launch National Hygiene Week now; what solutions are organisations looking to address poverty, and more.
Teach your children
Working with Boots UK we have co-developed lesson plans for KS2 and KS3 to help young people learn about hygiene poverty and the way it effects one physical and emotional well being. Our schools resources can be downloaded for free and can be used in schools, Girl Guiding or Scouts groups, or to help you talk to your children about hygiene poverty at home. Link in bio.

Write to your MP
It's important politicians know hygiene poverty exists in their local community. Help make real change by writing your local MP and letting them know its important to you that they act to help end hygiene poverty so all of us, not some of us, can keep clean.
You can do this by downloading our template letter and adapting it for your local MP. It only takes a few minutes to raise awareness that hygiene poverty in your local community is simply unjust.
