What products do you collect?
The Hygiene Bank collects new, unused, in-date personal care and household cleaning essentials. The lists below are not exhaustive; our rule of thumb is, if you need them and use them, then it is likely someone else needs and uses them too. If you can't get to a convenient drop off location, you can buy on-line direct from our Common Good Community Wishlists.
For product queries, please read our FAQs listed below. For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept half used, old products. Please only donate what you would consider happily gifting a friend.

Product Donation FAQs
Some brands do not use expiry dates whilst Tampax show two dates on their boxes: one is the production date and the other is the expiry date. Currently, organic tampon brands do not have to state their expiry date.
We aim to provide our community partners with the easiest options possible for their service users, as not all people have facilities available for washing, so preferably we ask people to donate products that have the option be hand washed rather than limited to machine wash only.
For health and safety reasons we can only take new and unused make-up.
However we do recognize that many everyday essentials from toilet paper packaging, plastic bottles, toothbrushes, deodorant and cotton buds are not environmentally or animal friendly. We are looking at ways to mitigate the harm and appreciate suggestions from our supporters.
Many donations are given to us in plastic bags and rather than dispose of these bags they are reused to distribute goods to our charity partners.
